Cozumel is an absolutely beautiful island off the coast of Playa del Carmen in Mexico, accessible via ferry, it’s a perfect location for a romantic getaway. Not only does it have stunning beaches stretching all around the island, but it is also world famous for the fantastic snorkelling and scuba diving sights. If you’re looking for a something livelier then hire a Buggy and drive around the island or head to Playa Mia Waterpark containing more than 20 water park attractions. You can always go further afield to the mainland and visit the main street in Playa del Carmen, Quinta Avenida, for shopping and restaurants. Xplor and Xcaret park are also highly recommended for anyone looking for a bit of adventure on their holiday, from zip lining through the forest to swimming with dolphins.
